About The Position

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a transportation-related government location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, or unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public agencies as directed.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and daily activity records.
Assist with directing visitors and vehicles, providing general information, and supporting orderly operations in accordance with site policies and procedures.
