As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Security in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol a retail and mall location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, communicate clearly with customers and team members, and provide exceptional service. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Observe and report conditions that may require attention, including unsecured doors, damaged property, parking concerns, or suspicious activity, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.
• Assist with access control, deliveries, and directional assistance while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
