About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Property Protection Patrol Driver in Riverside, California, to serve and safeguard clients at a busy retail location. The role supports a welcoming environment through vehicle and foot patrols, a visible security presence, clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and customer service. The position is full time and pays $19.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Thursday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants for unarmed roles must be at least 18 years old; applicants for armed roles must be at least 21 years old.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter.
Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns, and report observations to site leadership or appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site procedures, and document activities as required.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity and provide professional assistance and directions to customers and visitors.
