About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Property Protection in Houston, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. This unarmed patrol role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for this driving position.
• Applicants for unarmed roles must be at least 18 years old; applicants for armed roles must be at least 21 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities while providing customer service at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials according to site-specific procedures.
• Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
