About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Property Protection in Plain City, Ohio, serving a logistics and distribution location. The officer conducts routine patrols and maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, integrity, teamwork, and reliability. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.98 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state or local licensing requirements, if applicable before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry when required, and report unauthorized people, vehicles, or activities according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with company and site requirements.
