About The Position

Securitas is hiring entry-level Security Officers to observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, helping protect client property and personnel. Positions are available full-time and part-time, with all shifts available, including weekends. Pay is $17.00–$21.00 per hour, with weekly pay and a $250 hiring bonus after 90 days. The role requires passing a background check and drug screen and meeting applicable state, county, and municipal security licensing requirements. Security Officers are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills. Visible body-piercing accessories and visible tattoos are not permitted unless authorized. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass a lifetime background check and drug test.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must have excellent communication skills and a professional manner.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Visible body-piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted unless authorized.
Must be able to perform the stated physical activities and lifting requirements.

Responsibilities

Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Stay alert and attentive to surroundings to identify potential risks or incidents.
Assist when an incident requires intervention.
