Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Property Observation
About The Position
As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a retail location in Johnstown, Ohio, you will help safeguard clients, shoppers, and store personnel. The role involves driving patrols and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and professional communication. The position is full time, pays $18.50 per hour, and is scheduled for overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must comply with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; document observations and report relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, exterior walkways, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor access points and activity to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and other policy violations through a visible presence.
- Assist customers with directions and inquiries, and communicate professionally with store personnel, visitors, and first responders.
