Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation

About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Security Officer in Hunt Valley, Maryland, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security concerns, and providing customer service. The role is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM, and pays $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State and/or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corporate office, technology, laboratory, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized entry requirements in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
