About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Security Officer to join the team at Saint Johns Resort. The role supports the company’s hospitality-focused service culture and includes patrolling the property, responding to safety concerns, assisting guests, and completing shift reports. This is a part-time position on the midnight shift only. The hiring process may include a phone interview, interviews with managers, a drug screen, a background check, reference checks, and a potential employment assessment. Paid Time Off is available to eligible associates according to company policy; specific compensation and benefit details will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

At least two years of experience in a security role.
At least a high school education.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Authoritative verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.

Nice To Haves

Post-high-school education is preferred.
Peace Officer training is preferred.

Responsibilities

Patrol the property, inside and outside, during assigned shifts.
Check doors and stairwells to ensure they are secure.
Respond to complaints and calls for help.
Purchase, maintain, and monitor security cameras and alarm systems.
Escort unruly patrons and loiterers from the property.
Assist with securing a taxi for inebriated guests.
Complete a report at the end of the shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
