Security Officer Part Time 2nd Shift

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Independence, Kentucky. The officer will help safeguard the site, its employees, visitors, and drivers by providing customer service, conducting patrols, monitoring access and activity, and responding to incidents. The role is scheduled for second shift on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $18.22 per hour, paid weekly. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, delivery-related disruptions, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations.
Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries according to site procedures.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
