About The Position

Provides direct security and related public services during the second shift on a part-time basis. The role includes responding to emergencies, remaining alert to activities that could cause injury or property damage, and communicating effectively with clients, client representatives, employees, visitors, and vendors. The Security Officer enforces and abides by all hospital policies and guidelines.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 90 days.
• Complete a Taser X26P or Taser 7 course within 6 months.
• Complete a handcuff course within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Physically intervene during a crisis when necessary.
• Remain constantly alert and vigilant for activities that could result in injury to a person or damage or loss of property.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with clients or their representatives, client employees, visitors, and client vendors.
• Enforce and abide by all hospital policies and guidelines.
