About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location in Houston, Texas. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors and tenants with professional customer service. The role calls for strong communication skills and a commitment to integrity in a team-focused workplace. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $11.50 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
A guard card or license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, assist authorized visitors, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
