About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Patrol Officer to support a financial institution in Charlotte, North Carolina. The officer will provide customer service and security support, conduct armed patrols, monitor access and visitor activity, respond to incidents and alarms, and communicate security concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership. The role requires at least four years of military or law enforcement experience, or a criminal justice degree, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum age of 21 for armed roles.

Requirements

• At least four years of military or law enforcement experience, or a criminal justice degree.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking facilities, ATM locations, and the surrounding perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or security concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
