About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a retail location in Austin, Texas. The officer will safeguard clients and provide customer service to shoppers, team members, and visitors while helping maintain a welcoming environment. Duties include routine patrols, monitoring access points and activity, responding to incidents, and documenting observations and events. The listed schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Pay is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, team members, and visitors while following security procedures and location-specific policies, and carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills to handle incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; communicate with store leadership and emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns according to established procedures.
Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
