About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer for a financial institution in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves armed patrols, monitoring access points, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing professional customer service to employees and visitors. Officers follow site-specific procedures and policies, respond to emergencies and security incidents, and help maintain a welcoming environment. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM. Pay is $20.55 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and the business perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries.
Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in required reports.
