About The Position

As a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Plain City, Ohio, you will help safeguard the site and provide a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and provide dependable customer service. The role is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and pays $17.98 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, entry points, trailer yards, and the site perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities according to company and site reporting requirements.
