Security Officer Full Time Overnight
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate. Officers respond calmly to incidents and critical situations and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. Paid training and uniforms are provided. No experience is required. The position pays $18.80 per hour and follows an overnight schedule: Friday through Tuesday, 1:00 AM–9:30 AM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.
- Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
