Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Protection Patrol

About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution in Cleveland, Ohio, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security concerns, and support a welcoming environment. The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and remain aware of visitor and employee activity to support controlled access.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.
