About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a commercial real estate location in Kihei, Hawaii. The officer helps safeguard tenants, visitors, contractors, staff, and property by providing customer service, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access, and responding to security-related concerns. The role supports a welcoming environment and requires professional communication, sound judgment, and adherence to site-specific procedures and post orders. The schedule is Monday and Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.50 per hour. Officers can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor property access and verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site policies.
Report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following post orders and escalation procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports.
Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
