About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer Visitor Services in Irving, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a healthcare location. In this front-desk role, you will welcome visitors, manage access, support security-related procedures, and provide customer service and clear communication. You will help maintain a professional, welcoming environment and respond to questions and concerns with integrity and care.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state and/or local law and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and security policies at a healthcare location.
Staff the front desk; greet and direct visitors; verify identification and visitor credentials; issue visitor passes; and maintain accurate entry and sign-in records.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from the front desk, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
Communicate professionally with healthcare personnel, patients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while maintaining confidentiality and a welcoming front-desk presence.
