About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Visitor Services in Plano, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. In a front-desk role, you will create a welcoming, professional first impression while helping maintain a secure environment. You will greet and manage visitors, monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws, as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law as a condition of employment.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide front-desk customer service by following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and security policies at a financial institution.
Greet, screen, and direct visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel according to visitor-management procedures.
Monitor entry activity, maintain accurate visitor records, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following applicable emergency response procedures.
Answer inquiries, provide directions, maintain a professional reception environment, and help protect confidential information when handling visitor and access-related requests.
