Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will also deliver outstanding customer service, support a welcoming environment, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to every interaction.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed activity according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout shopping areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to management, tenants, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
