About The Position
As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in New Bern, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, noting conditions that could impact operations or lead to security-related issues.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting established badge, sign-in, and key control procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activity in required reports, and communicate with site personnel regarding policy questions, operational disruptions, or emergency situations.
