About The Position

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and directing individuals according to site protocols to help support controlled entry and movement throughout the location.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, noting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or operational irregularities for follow-up by site leadership.
