About The Position

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post instructions and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures to help support authorized entry and orderly operations.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or patrol activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
