Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify approved access, and assist with visitor direction, screening support, and/or escort requests in accordance with site policies.
Support healthcare operations by helping to maintain order in waiting areas, lobbies, and restricted spaces while providing courteous communication and assistance during routine and high-traffic periods.
