As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving and/or foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and report access concerns, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and inquiries, and communicating clearly with site personnel and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations.
