As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidance, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, report suspicious behavior, and/or address unauthorized access concerns.
• Assist with security-related procedures related to opening and closing activities, crowd management, and customer interactions while following Allied Universal standards and site policies.
