As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a professional medical technology location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to confirm that entry procedures are followed and escalating concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and support Allied Universal and site leadership with security-related information, requests, and/or follow-up actions.
