As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Salinas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, service lanes, showrooms, offices, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe activity involving vehicles, deliveries, and/or after-hours movement, reporting suspicious behavior, property concerns, and policy violations according to site guidelines.
Support closing and opening routines as assigned, such as checking gates, doors, lighting, and/or designated areas, while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
