About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol at a logistics and distribution location in Hermiston, Oregon, you will serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and report activity promptly while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. This is a part-time position scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, paying $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when addressing incidents, vehicle traffic concerns, and critical situations; follow site protocols and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, facility entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and support verification of visitors, drivers, deliveries, and authorized personnel according to site-specific procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
