Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter points as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Support access control, closing procedures, and/or crowd and line monitoring during busy business periods, special events, or high-traffic hours.
