Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and/or access points while communicating with staff, guests, and first responders as needed.
Support daily operations by reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts in a timely manner.
