About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Duncan, SC, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control. You will respond to alarms, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations. The role involves providing customer service, following site-specific security procedures, and taking appropriate emergency response actions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with alarm panels.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
Experience with access control and badge systems.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations in manufacturing and industrial areas.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations using Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
