About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Alarm Response in Asheville, North Carolina, you will safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The role is full-time and pays $20.00 per hour. Scheduled hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary according to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
