About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Alarm Response in Bear, Delaware. The officer will safeguard clients and help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, conducting routine patrols, responding to alarms and access-control needs, documenting activity using computer or tablet systems, and delivering customer service. The schedule is Wednesday 4:30 PM–11:30 PM, Thursday and Friday 11:30 PM–7:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
