About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced Part Time for an assigned site in Groveport, Ohio. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift at a designated site, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Hours may vary from part-time to as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The pay rate is $17.98 per hour. The listed shift is Saturday from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, entry points, and perimeter, and identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and help verify authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicle traffic according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Accurately document patrols, observations, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
