About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Response in Inman, South Carolina. The position provides consistent hours at an assigned site through a fixed weekly shift, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform. The assigned anchor shifts require a six-month commitment. Employees may work variable part-time hours and can build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back.

The position pays $15.05 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM. The role involves providing customer service and security support at manufacturing and industrial areas, responding to incidents, patrolling the site, monitoring access, and communicating observations and concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if working in a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in a problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, including the business perimeter, access points, and loading areas, to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and maintain accurate logs and reports as required.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.
