About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Response in Greensboro, Georgia. The position provides a dependable assigned-site shift, with the option to pick up additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The designated weekly shift requires a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may offer the opportunity to work more hours, including up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. Pay is $18.50 per hour.

The role involves providing customer service while carrying out security procedures, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting security-related events and observations. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the stated age requirement. Background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening are conditions of employment. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, residents, guests, and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate grounds, buildings, amenities, parking areas, and perimeters to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, assist with directions and access inquiries, and complete documentation as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain daily activity logs covering incidents, patrols, observations, and security concerns.
