About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Response in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned retail site, with a designated weekly shift requiring a six-month commitment. In addition to the fixed shift, officers may claim extra shifts through the company’s scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $18.80 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday and Thursday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies, conducts unarmed patrols, monitors access and activity, responds to incidents and critical situations, and completes required reports and logs. The position requires at least two years of security-related experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law; state or local licensing may also be required.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation according to site procedures.
