About The Position

As a Security Officer TWIC Patrol Driver in Westville, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity, equipment issues, and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and follow site access control procedures for employees, vendors, and delivery personnel.
  • Support emergency and incident response activities by communicating clearly with site personnel, following post orders, and assisting with evacuations, restricted area control, and/or related security-related duties as directed.
