Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support badge access activities while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, strong attention to detail, and a people-first approach grounded in teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, visitor processing, and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas through consistent screening and reporting practices.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including access points, parking areas, and exterior locations, while observing and reporting unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
Document daily activities, access control events, and incident details in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel as needed.
