Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government waterfront location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related policies at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and public agencies as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, waterfront access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or permissions, and document daily activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with post orders.
  • Support emergency response activities, traffic and pedestrian control, and assist with directing visitors and deliveries while following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
