Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, confirming credentials, issuing visitor passes, and/or maintaining front desk entry records in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Support a professional front desk presence by observing lobby activity, reporting unusual behavior or conditions, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Complete routine logs, reports, and other assigned documentation related to front desk activity and security-related concerns.
