Requirements

  • Security-related experience of 1+ years is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and front desk responsibilities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access through professional presence and established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating appropriate emergency response activities when needed.
  • Receive and document deliveries, guest arrivals, and security-related concerns, while maintaining accurate front desk logs and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support day-to-day security-related operations from a stationary post while following client-facing service standards and site policies.
