As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Swedesboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will remain a visible presence at entry points, assist with access control and visitor processing, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to support daily operations while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, putting people first through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with security-related policies.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions, manage front desk communications, and support employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors with security-related questions and site access procedures.
  • Observe lobby and entrance activity, monitor alarms and/or cameras from the front desk area, and help to deter unauthorized access through visible presence and timely reporting.
