About The Position

As a Security Officer Secure Access Officer in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, screening access requests, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related protocols and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, manage visitor and contractor access, maintain accurate logs and records, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or access concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using clear communication and following post orders and site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entrances, and perimeter locations as assigned, remaining aware of changing conditions within a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
