About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Screening Support in Fort Worth, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help maintain a secure environment by screening people and items, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. The role includes providing professional customer service, communicating clearly with team members and visitors, and using computer or tablet tools as needed. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.82 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel according to established access-control and screening procedures.
Inspect bags, packages, and other permitted items as directed; document observations and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, loading areas, parking areas, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
