As a Security Officer Screening Attendant in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen individuals and items, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization credentials to help deter unauthorized entry into operational areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
