As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and visitors, documenting activity, and communicating clearly with site teams. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers entering the facility in accordance with site access procedures; verify identification, maintain visitor records, and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound traffic at entry points, including delivery vehicles and personnel, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
